Jethete M152 Sheet

Available forms of Jethete® M152 Sheet are seamless pipe, welded pipe, seamless tube, welded tube, bar, wire, sheet, plate, forgings, pipe fittings and flanges.

Jethete M152 Sheet is a creep and corrosion resistant, hardened and tempered steel with a usual upper temperature limit of 560°C. It combines very good toughness and creep rupture properties making it an excellent alloy for use in highly stressed turbine blades, discs, screws, bolts and rings. Jethete M152 is supplied by Aircraft Materials in both bar form, to British Standards BS S151 and BS S159 and in sheet form to Rolls Royce specifications MSRR 6504 and MSRR 6514. It can also be supplied in mill productions to the US Aerospace specification AMS 5719.

Jethete martensitic stainless steel is an AOD + ESR or AOD + VAR melted alloy with additional alloying elements giving it good strength and temper resistance at higher temperatures up to 1000oF. Similar to the 410 stainless this grade has the ability to be heat treated to multiple different strength levels. Because of the temper resistance this alloy is often used as high heat bolting in the aerospace industry and gas turbine parts in the power generation industry.
