We are suppliers of Hastelloy X Bar used for commercial applications. Haste alloys are known for their high strength, high-temperature resistance, and heat endurance. Mostly Hastelloy X Bar is used in industrial sectors namely, chemical and petrochemical, power, oil & gas, environmental, Coal, food processing, fertilizer production, etc. These products are excellent towards corrosive environments with strong and resistant nature of elevated temperatures.
Such properties have increased the demand for Hastelloy Pipes and we at Carey Alloys are perfectly positioned to deliver your product as per your requirement. We rigorously check for defaults and manufacturing defects in all our pipes. Available in all dimensions and thickness, we supply and export them in all sizes and specifications.
Hastelloy X is one of the most widely used nickel-based alloys due to its high resistance to oxidation and high temperature strength. Also known as Alloy “X”, is commonly used in gas turbine engine components, furnace applications and any type of combustion zone sections such as tailpipes, cabin heaters and heat-treating equipment. Its good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and carburization make it suitable for petrochemical processing equipment and all types of forming and welding. Hastelloy alloy X is machinable in the rolled and cast form at low cutting speeds and coolant is required. All rolled forms of Hastelloy X are provided in the solution heat-treated condition. Standard practice heat-treatment is 2150°F followed by rapid cooling.

Hastelloy X can be machined using conventional machining methods which are used for iron-based alloys. Machining operations are performed using commercial coolants. High-speed operations such as grinding, milling or turning, are performed using water-base coolants. Hastelloy X is welded using gas-tungsten arc welding, shielded metal-arc welding, gas metal-arc welding, and submerged-arc welding methods.
