Titanium Grade 7 Bar (UNS: R52400)

Titanium Grade 7 is the most resistant to corrosion in reducing acids with physical/mechanical properties equivalent to Gr. 2. Grade 7 also has excellent weldability and fabricability.

Grade 7 is mechanically and physically equivalent to Grade 2, except with the addition of the interstitial element palladium, making it an alloy. Grade 7 possesses excellent weldability and fabricality, and is the most corrosion resistance of all titanium alloys. In fact, it is most resistant to corrosion in reducing acids.

Carey Alloys is an esteemed company that is pretty much engaged in giving a widespread variety of Titanium Grade 7 Round Bars and Rods. We export an extensive assortment of Titanium Grade 7 Bars that are appropriate for applications such as static and rotating gas turbine engine components. These Titanium Grade 7 Rods are being fabricated by means of precision using finest grade raw materials.

The development of many different alloys has extended the application of titanium in industries ranging from industrial and chemical processing to power generation. This grade possesses good weldability, strength, ductility and formability. This makes Grade 7 titanium bar is the prime choice for many fields of applications:

Titanium Corrosion Resistance

Titanium's outstanding corrosion resistance is due to the formation of a tightly adherent oxide film on its surface. When damaged, this thin invisible layer immediately reforms, maintaining a surface which is completely resistant to corrosive attack in sea water and all natural environments. This oxide is so resistant to corrosion that titanium components often look brand new even after years of service.
