Oxygen Free Copper

Oxygen-free copper (OFC) or oxygen-free high thermal conductivity (OFHC) copper is a group of wrought high conductivity copper alloys that have been electrolytically refined to reduce the level of oxygen to .001% or below.

We are ranked amongst the foremost firms that is engaged in manufacturing, exporting and supplying a wide range of Oxygen Free Copper . The offered bus bar is manufactured using superior quality raw material and advanced technology in compliance with industry norms.

By the uniquely developed vacuum degassing facility in the continuous casting line, gas in the Cu has been lowered to the limits, which has made it possible for us to mass produce oxygen free Cu class 1. Based on this technology, integrated production from slab to product and stringent process control, stable supply of high grade oxygen free Cu can be delivered to our customers.

Unalloyed copper or oxygen free coppers have good corrosion resistance and high thermal and electrical properties. Unalloyed coppers of different grades vary based on the amount of impurities present, and have different characteristics. UNS designations of commercially available pure copper are C10100 to C13000. These oxygen free coppers are suitable for applications, which require ductility and high conductivity.

Applications

Oxygen Free Copper and its variety of alloys are utilized in very specific and often tailor-made applications such as oilfield tools, aerospace landing gears, robotic welding, and mold making applications. Additional non-magnetic properties make it ideal for down-hole wire line tools.
